Going to try holding movie night Wednesdays, to see if more folks can make it. So tomorrow evening at 5:00 PM in Creese 226, 2nd floor of the Creese building, we will be watching the notorious and deeply unsettling movie “Jesus Camp”, a must see documentary for people in our day and age. Because of the nature of this video I must warn you all that this film does include many disturbing images, so it is not for the faint of heart. That being said I still invite any all all of our freethinking community to come and view it with us.

Hope to see as many of you there as can make it, but remember space is limited. And if you are out of Drexel I invite you all as well, but just let me know you are comming, haha, see you all there!

Tomorrow evening at 5:30 PM in Conference Room B in the basement of Creese Student Center we will be watching the CARM Debate 2008: “Does God Exist” featuring Matt Slick vs Edwin Kagin. Should be a riveting discussion with lots of room for us to discuss and dissect. Also during this time we hope to finish “Putting Evolution on Trial”  that we were unable to complete last week. We welcome and encourage people to come by and discuss this video or any other topics. Hope to see you all there

Tomorrows Freethinking Movie Night will be featuring “Putting Evolution on Trial” a through investigation into evolution and its faults as seen from some perspectives. This video series is long but broken up into parts so we will see how many we are able to get through tomorrow. Movie will be shown at 5:30 PM in Creese 226.

Tomorrow the Drexel Freethought General Meeting has been canceled so
that we can go and view a rather interesting sounding event: Modern
Muslim, an event that seeks to quell the stereotypes of Muslims,
reaffirming that Islam is a religion of peace. This event is Thursday
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the James E. Marks Intercultural Center Gallery.

Afterward we will likely have a discussion on this event.

The first of what i hope will be many meetings of the new event Freethought Movie Night will be hosted tomorrow in Creese 226 at 5:30 PM. Freethought Movie Night is an extra weekly event for Freethinkers at Drexel to gather together and watch videos related to science, reason, religion and many other subjects. This week we will be watching the first of Richard Dawkins Enemies of Reason: Slaves to Superstition. Of course following this video there will be discussion and we will likely all go out to dinner Hope to see you all there!

As this new term starts, a new influx of new members emerged, because of this its probably important to have a new introductory meeting, to share our experiences and show our new freethinkers what this club is about. Also with the new term has come new enthusiasm from me so new events are in the works, as well as a whole new branch of video screening themed meetings!

This weeks meeting will be held in the basement of Creese Student Center at 5:30 PM on Thursday April 5, will be held in Creese 226.
