Welcome to the DFS on the web!

Justin Gero, president of the DFS.

Hello freethinker!

Welcome to the Drexel Freethought Society’s new website! The Drexel Freethought Society (DFS) is the secular student organization at Drexel University. Founded in the fall of 2009, the DFS provides a community for the university’s atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, and freethinkers.

We have built this website to allow us to do several things. First, we want to spread understanding of Freethought philosophy, and the people that have shaped these ideas. In addition to this, we want you to understand the DFS Mission, and how the DFS is working to promote science, logic, and reason.

For DFS members, we want you to have access to our Constitution, and stay connected to the group with our Events Calendar. We hope this site allows you to stay up-to-date on DFS news and stay involved with the group. The DFS officers are planning some great events for the winter term and we hope to see all 60 members there! And in case you couldn’t make one of our events, visit the Photos page to catch-up on what you missed.

If you have any comments about our website, would like to join or contribute to our organization please email us at . We also hope that you will join our group on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and visit our affiliate organizations the Secular Student Alliance and the Center For Inquiry.

Thank you for visiting the Drexel Freethought Society on the web!
